IELTS Writing Task 2 対策 （単文）
英語の文の分類として、S+Vがどのような形態で含まれているかという構造に着目すると、
単文、重文、複文に分類されます。
1． 単文（simple sentence）
単文とは、1つの文章の中に、主語（主部）と動詞（述部）が1組だけで構成された、
英文のことです。
重なった主語（主部）や重なった述語を持っていても単文です。
修飾語や修飾句を伴っていても単文です。
S + V
Computers are useful to people.
S + V + V
I search for information and play games.
S + S + V + V
The teachers and students search for information and find answers on the computer.

2. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
